
Dan Casey is a financial planner with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. With a strong background in comprehensive financial planning, he assists his clients with investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, college planning, risk management, and more. Beyond working with individuals and families, he provides retirement plan development and management for small business owners.
Prior to working in personal financial planning, Dan started his career in the world of corporate finance. For more than 25 years, he worked in the oil industry with ARCO. His executive management positions included head of Corporate Performance and Competitor Analysis and Vice President of Finance, Planning and Control for ARCO Products Company. While he enjoyed a successful career in a large corporation, in the next phase of his career he wanted to use his financial expertise to work more closely with individual clients and help them with their wealth planning needs. As a registered representative with an independent brokerage firm, United Planners Financial Services, Dan provides unbiased, personalized financial planning advice and strategies. Dan has taught thousands of students in Financial Analysis and the comprehensive Capstone courses in the UCLA & UCSB Extension Personal Financial Planning Certificate programs.
Dan earned a BA in Mathematics and a MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and insurance licenses, and is affiliated with United Planners.
Dan was born and raised in Burbank, California, and enjoys spending time with his wife Regina, three grown children, two grandchildren, two brothers, sister and nieces and nephews. A sports fan, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and is a diehard UCLA Bruin, Dodgers and LA Kings fan.
